Namespaces, collections, files, principals, and access rules.
Namespace
A namespace is the tenant boundary. A namespace key cannot see another namespace.
Collection
A collection is one corpus of files. Search and Query run on one collection.
File and path
A file has a path inside the collection, such as logs/2026/09/incident.txt. The bytes can live at a storage URI.
Principal
A principal is a name your product sends, such as user:ada@acme.example. Graphon Engine does not sign the person in.
Access rule
An access rule lists the principals that can read one folder or one file.
Job
A long write returns a job. Read the job to see when the work finishes.
