Terms
The Graphon terms used across the docs.
- Bucket
- A container for objects. A smart bucket indexes its objects for search and query.
- Object
- A file plus its key. Graphon accepts any file type.
- Smart bucket
- A bucket that Graphon reads and indexes as you write to it.
- Tenant partition
- A tenant’s objects grouped by a key prefix or a dedicated bucket. Your backend enforces tenant access. API keys cover the whole workspace.
- Agentic query
- A natural-language question that Graphon answers with citations.
- Query mode
- How a query runs. A search takes hybrid or keyword. An answer and research take no mode.
- Dataset
- A read-only set of documents that Graphon curates and every workspace can query. Its id starts with dst.
- Target
- What a search, an answer, a read of a span, or a research run reads: a bucket id (bkt…) or a dataset id (dst…).
- Workspace
- The container for buckets, keys, and members. The unit of access.
- Answer engine
- A query mode that returns a natural-language answer with sources.
